Diğer: Exley ve arkadaşları rekombinan tümör nekroz edici faktöre karşı hazırlanan monoklonal antikorlar ile septik şokun tedavisinde hipotansiyonun düzeltilebildiğini ve yaşamın uzatılabildiğini ve bu tür tedavinin emin ve yararlı olduğunu bildirmişlerdir. Son yıllarda tromboksan sentetaz inhibitörleri veya stabil prostasiklin analoglarının da sepsiste kullanımı sözkonusu olmuştur. Hücresel ressusitasyon amacıyla glukozinsülin-potasyum (GIK) tedavisi de önerilmiştir. GIK tedavisinde 600-1000 g glukoz, 100-125 ü kristalize insülin ve 200-300 mEq potasyumun birlikte infüzyonu yapılır.
